A BIT OF HISTORY...
My name is Rachel White.
I have over 17years experience as a stocktaker with a variety of clients including Pubs, Clubs, Hotels, Resaurants, Wedding Venues, Coffee Shops, Cafes and Convenience Stores .
In brief, I started part time behind a bar in 1991 whilst doing A-Levels and progressed to Assistant Manager in 1996 after graduating with an Accountancy degree. I subsequently became a Relief Manager and Manager for Scottish and Newcastle before taking a Tenancy for the same company.
After ten years in the pub trade I left to become a Stocktaker with a company called Capcon. I was with Capcon for five years before I decided to start on my own as a self-employed stocktaker and book-keeper.

By providing Stocktaking and Book-Keeping services to an industry of which I have extensive knowledge and experience I believe that I can offer support and advice on how to improve procedures and organisation within the business by identifying issues and offering recommendations.
STOCKTAKING
Computerised stock systems for food, liquor and valuations.
Stocktakes completed on site, results discussed and reports presented for your records.
RETAIL SHOP VALUATIONS
Valutions may be required for year end accounts, when a shop is being sold or for management changes. All stock is counted and valued at retail, from which the cost is then calculated. Details of stockholding values can be presented as required to all neccesary parties. Please call for more information. Valuations are usually counted and calculated on the same day.
BOOK-KEEPING
Book-Keeping can be completed on or off site, for your convenience.
VAT returns completed and submitted on-line, if required.
I provide a friendly, efficient and completely confidential, professional service at competitive rates.
I am available days, evenings and week-ends.
